Khalid Al Hosani was found in a shelter in Bangalore.

Emirati teen missing in India is found

DUBAI // An Emirati teenager who went missing in Bangalore has been found after seven days.

Khalid Al Hosani, 19, who has epilepsy, was found in a welfare shelter called Home of Hope, a UAE consulate source confirmed.
Khalid flew to India with his father and uncle on October 1 for treatment from a neurologist.

He speaks only Arabic and went missing last Friday in the Pulakesi Nagar area, just minutes before he was due for treatment.

The Home of Hope cares for sick, destitute and abandoned people. Khalid was taken there by police on Friday night, hours after he was reported missing.

“He was conscious but in a daze and was extremely sick. He was getting fits so often despite us giving him medicine,” said A Raja, founder of the home.

Khalid’s mother, Umm Khalid, said: “My whole body is shaking with happiness, I just cannot believe it. Thanks God for all of this.
