Emirati seriously injured during knife fight in RAK with two men

An Emirati has been severely injured in a knife fight with two compatriots, police said yesterday.

The victim suffered injuries to his abdomen, but his condition was described as stable.

Only one of his attackers had a knife and Ras Al Khaimah police did not say whether the second man had been arrested.

"We are still investigating the reason for the fight," said Maj Marwan Al Mansoori.

Officers were alerted to the incident, in a village near Al Rams, at 10pm on Sunday.

Police have urged parents to supervise their children.
