Emirati killed crossing Emirates Road

An Emirati pedestrian died Thursday after he was hit by a vehicle while crossing Emirates Road, Dubai Police said.

The man was hit at about 6am on a section of the highway where the speed limit is 120 kph, said Lt. Imran Abdullah.

He was trying to walk across the road from Sharjah to Dubai near bridge number 6, Lt. Abdullah said.
