New Dubai school offers trilingual education

DUBAI // An exclusive private school that teaches both the French and International Baccalaureate curriculums in French, English and Arabic will be opened by the French-Lebanese Association of Education and Culture (AFLEC). The primary school in Meydan will open its doors to just 320 pupils this September.

Outside the classroom, children will take part in swimming, tennis and horse-riding and talented pupils will be taught by special instructors from institutes of music, languages and art.

The school will also cater to children with special needs and plans to start a foundation to provide scholarships.

The school hopes to charge annual fees of up to Dh90,000 and registration will open once the Knowledge and Human Development Authority approves.
