Twenty physically challenged people from Gaza will receive one year of training at the Interior Ministry's Rehabilitation and Employment Centres for People with Special Needs, state agency WAM reported. The grant is given by Sheikh Saif bin Zayed under the humanitarian programme. ''The initiative shows the solidarity of the UAE and its people with the people of Palestine at the current circumstances they are experiencing," Nasser Al Sharaiqi, coordinator of the rehabilitation centre said. During a ten month programme, the disabled Palestinians would receive training on computer skills, e-design, maintenance of electronic appliances. After the course, jobs will be offered to those who would like to pursue a professional career. * WAM
