Dubai white point drivers honoured by police
Seven hundred Dubai drivers who did not commit a single traffic offence last year have been honoured during a ceremony organised by Dubai Police.
The winners were given 24 "white points", two points for each violation-free month of the year, on Tuesday. The white points can be used to redeem a traffic ticket or cancel a one-month impoundment decision, among other advantages.
To qualify, drivers must not commit offences including using Salik motorways without credit or being issued traffic tickets in other emirates.
