Dubai Municipality takes in 218 summer interns

Two-hundred and eighteen students are to begin summer internships at Dubai Municipality this week.

The youths - high school seniors and recent graduates - have already completed a training workshop and are now to take up roles in various departments. They are to be mentored by municipal staff and given assignments to complete.

Their training will also include workshops on environmental and social sciences. After finishing the programme, the pupils are to be awarded certificates of experience and receive payment for their time and effort.
