Du warns internet users of slower connection during cable maintenance

Planned cable maintenance next week may affect internet users across the country, the telecommunication provider du said yesterday.

Du warned its customers that while there would not be a complete loss of internet, some customers might experience a slower connection. There will be no impact on national or international calls from mobile and fixed lines, the company said.

Du said the maintenance by the SMW-4 submarine cable consortium will be carried out from midnight on July 25 to 4am on July 31.
