Drugs for treating tumours and diabetes approved by ministry
The Ministry of Health has approved more than 120 new treatment drugs. Fifteen are innovative, five are biological and 105 are generic medications.
The drugs are used for the treatment of tumours, diabetes, high blood pressure, multiple sclerosis, allergies, arthritis and cancer.
Members of the committee also discussed setting up a classification system for all controlled drugs, which are only available by prescription.
Officials also urged athletes to stop using illegally distributed hormonal drugs and steroids that may irreversibly harm their health.
