Driver dies after falling asleep at the wheel

The National staff

An Emirati man died after falling asleep while driving yesterday morning. The crash happened near his village of Tawaeen, on the RAK-Fujairah border.

The 23-year-old had been returning from work in Abu Dhabi. Police say they have since increased the number of evening patrols.
