Do you support building a mosque at the Ground Zero site?


With the New York Landmarks Preservation Commission's vote to demolish an old factory, work is all but set to begin on the construction of the Islamic house of worship and cultural centre at the site of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack. Some say the centre's work will foster understanding about Muslims. Others call it disrespectful to the more than 3,000 people killed when militants flew two jetliners into the World Trade Center towers. Do you think the centre will be a positive development for American Muslims? Or is the project inappropriate?
