Dh3.7m grant for plant research

A University of Sharjah associate professor has received a US$1 million (Dh3.67m) grant to fund research exploring the use of native plants for landscaping in the GCC.

Dr Ali El-Keblawy, of the department of applied biology, received the grant from the Qatar Foundation.
