Dh1 dowry couple are honoured

An Emirate couple whose love cost only a dirham to be made official have been honoured by Dubai Courts as having the least registered dowry in 2011, the state news agency, Wam, said.

It was hoped the honour would spur other couples into reducing their dowries.
