Details for donating to Dubai tower residents coming soon

DUBAI // People looking to donate clothes and other essentials to the residents of Tamweel Tower are being asked to contact the area's master developer before dropping off items.

Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) the master developer of Jumeirah Lakes Towers, said it is gathering together goods from well-wishers to be distributed to those left homeless.

Items left at a drop-off point at Armada Tower One in JLT were removed on Tuesday and no more donations will be accepted at the building.

A spokeswoman for DMCC said a note will be posted on the JLT community website soon informing people where to take donations. Alternatively, people can email community@jlt.ae.
