Crimeproof your house if you are away during Eid, Dubai Police say
People should be extra careful with home security during the Eid Al Adha festival, Dubai Police have warned.
Some criminal gangs take advantage of empty houses as people travel during the holiday. People should not leave any money or jewellery at home when they travel, and should cancel any newspaper deliveries so it is not obvious the house is empty.
Police are also available to check that properties are undisturbed if people register with them before they travel. The Eid break begins on Saturday.
