Women raped and forced into prostitution, Abu Dhabi court told
ABU DHABI // A gang kidnapped and raped three women before renting them out as prostitutes, a court heard today.
The five men and one woman, all from Bangladesh, promised the women jobs before kidnapping them and taking them to apartments in Al Khatem and Shahama where they would be raped and assaulted.
After the women were raped they would be forced to prostitute themselves.
Prosecutors said the six confessed during police interrogation to charges of rape and kidnap. In court, they denied the charges.
The Criminal Court's verdict is expected on February 25.
