Swimming instructor 'molested' girl, 10

DUBAI // A hotel swimming instructor exposed himself to a 10-year-old girl and made her touch him, a court heard. The girl's mother told prosecutors that when she asked her daughter to get ready for a swimming lesson at the Dunes Hotel in the Al Muhaisnah area of Deira, the girl started crying and refused to go. The child said her instructor, FI, had molested her during a previous lesson and then exposed himself, forcing her to touch him inappropriately.

FI, 25, denies sexually assaulting the child on June 7. The Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance will deliver its verdict next Tuesday. amustafa@thenational.ae
