Security guards jailed over fight

DUBAI // Two security guards who broke the tooth of a colleague in a fight over food were today sentenced to three months in prison each.

BK, 27, and JA, 25, both from Nepal, assaulted AK, 33, from the Philippines, on April 12, when he visited their room and asked them if they had any meat. The two men were under the influence of alcohol at the time.

The Dubai Criminal Court ruled that both men should be deported following their jail terms.
