Road accidents kill two in Al Ain

AL AIN // Two men were killed in two separate car crashes in Al Ain last week.

Butti Al Shamsi, 20, an Emirati, died on Thursday morning at the Cement Factory roundabout after losing control of his vehicle. He was driving too fast, officials said.

In another wreck, a 26-year-old Bangladeshi man was killed and his 32-year-old brother moderately injured on Friday night. The Al Ain Police say the crash occurred when the driver made a U-turn without looking to check traffic.

His vehicle was struck by another driven by an Emirati man. The impact caused the brothers' vehicle to skid out of control and hit two parked cars.

The Al Ain Police say drivers should be careful and maintain a safe distance between vehicles.
