ABU DHABI // Murder weapons were found at the home of four Emirati brothers who killed two Omanis in a blood feud, prosecutors told a court yesterday.
The brothers are accused of shooting and killing the two Omani men after ramming their car in Al Jimi, during a revenge attack for the death of a fifth brother allegedly murdered by a relative of one of the Omanis last year.
In a detailed report submitted to the Criminal Court, the Public Prosecution emphasised that one of the four brothers carried out the killings while the other three assisted.
Prosecutors said they had confiscated tools and firearms used in the killing from the home of the brothers.
The Criminal Court's presiding judge, Idrees bin Mansour, heard from defence lawyers for each of the brothers before adjourning the case to February 21 to hear further testimonies.
The brothers will remain in custody until the next hearing.
In a previous hearing, the brothers erupted in anger after the judge ordered them back to their cells, but this time they remained calm, guarded by police.
