DUBAI // Two men broke into an empty villa in the middle of the night and stole a safe, the Dubai Criminal Court heard today.
Prosecutors said that LS, 29 and AB, 25, both from Algeria, broke into the villa on February 25 and stole a safe containing jewellery, cheque books, a mobile phone and computer disk. They were charged with theft.
A further two people, SH, 22, and YM, 28, both from Bangladesh, were charged for possessing stolen goods.
All four denied the charges and the case was adjourned to June 20.
