Jail for men running illegal bar
DUBAI // Four bootleggers have been sentenced to six months in jail for running an illegal bar during the 2010 World Cup. The men, O M from Mali, Ugandans O B and A B and Nigerian O H pleaded not guilty to possessing 1,497 beer cans and 113 liquor bottles last week. All four were found guilty of possessing alcohol with intent to distribute. A B was sentenced to a further one month in jail for residing illegally in the country. amustafa@thenational.ae
