Hotel employee molested tourist, Dubai court told
DUBAI // A hotel employee molested a guest after taking her luggage to her room, a court heard today.
Prosecutors said the woman, TL, a 37-year-old American tourist, checked in to the Millennium Airport Hotel at about 10.30pm on August 5 and the Bangladeshi KH, 30, helped her with her luggage.
"He tried to assault me inside my room," said the woman, saying he grabbed her hand and put his arm around her neck. However, she managed to stop him before he could go any further.
At the Criminal Court, he denied a charge of sexual assault.
A verdict is expected on December 15.
