Dubai car showroom cleaner denies stealing umbrella

A cleaner in a car showroom denied charges of stealing an umbrella from his workplace.

AA, 44, Pakistani, told a Dubai court on Wednesday that he did not steal anything.

He was accused of stealing an umbrella from one of the cars which had been taken in for maintenance in November.

He is also charged with stealing an iPhone 4s from another car two months later. He confessed to those allegations.

A verdict is expected on March 13.
