Cross-dressing man jailed after being caught using woman's ID card in Dubai
DUBAI // A cross-dressing man who used a woman's ID card when he was stopped by police was today sentenced to three months in prison to be followed by deportation.
MA, 23, a Filipino, and his friend were in a car on January 4 when a policeman approached and asked for their identification documents.
The officer testified at the Criminal Court that he noticed a "clear difference" between the man's features and those of the woman featured on the ID card.
He asked both the men to accompany him to the police station, where MA admitted being a cross dresser. The man also admitted using the woman's ID card, which he found in a taxi.
