Businessman drops iPad theft case
DUBAI // The Criminal Court has dismissed a case against an airline engineer accused of stealing an iPad he found left on a plane.
The Indian businessman lost the device during a one-day trip to Dubai, but when he reported the loss to the airline he was told it had not been handed it in.
However, the businessman's wife used the device's iCloud application to discover that the airline employee BS, a Filipino, had used the iPad to log into his Facebook account. She then called the airline to report the matter.
The businessman waived his right to pursue the case.
