Assaulted UAE girl raped by 4 other men she called for help, court told

A 14-year-old girl who had been sexually assaulted was then raped and sexually assaulted by each of four other men she called for help, a court heard yesterday.

MF, who is Emirati, is alleged to have "met" SM on Facebook. He then threatened to tell her family about their online relationship unless she agreed to meet her in person.

When she did, he took her to Dubai, where he molested her, and left her there. She called another Facebook friend to try to get a lift back to the capital, but instead he took her to Al Ain, where he allegedly held her in a hotel room for two days and raped her, along with one of his friends.

She then called another man she knew, HB, a policeman, who took her along with his brother, SB, also a policeman, to the desert where they allegedly raped her and left her there until police found her and arrested the five Emiratis.

Yesterday all men denied their charges in the criminal court, and asked for a two-week adjournment to appoint lawyers. The case was adjourned until January 21.
