Corpse of man, 35, found in water tank
DUBAI // The body of a 35-year-old Nepalese man has been found inside a water tank.
Police are investigating the death after he was discovered in the tank of a residential building in Al Karama on Monday.
The circumstances suggest the man committed suicide, said Col Mohammed Nasser, the deputy director of the Criminal Investigation Department.
Interviews have indicated that he suffered from depression.
Further investigations, including the results of a postmortem examination, would determine the precise cause of death.
"We have sent the body for a forensic examination and we are currently waiting for the results," Col Nasser said.
