Cooler weather predicted for F1 weekend

The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology is predicting cooler and partly cloudy weather today and over the Grand Prix weekend, with moderate to strong winds creating rough conditions at sea.

Today, temperatures are expected to fall between a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 31 degrees in the coastal areas and from 13 to 32 degrees inland. Northwesterly winds might reach 45 kilometres per hour along the coast, making for choppy waves. Expect dust and sand to blow over open areas, especially in the West.

Over the weekend, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy, with an increase in humidity during the night and early morning hours. On Saturday, there is a chance of mist, according to the centre.
