Britons put on a show for Abu Dhabi shoppers

National Day shoppers got more than they bargained for in when a flash mob appeared at Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

More than 40 dancers took part in the stunt, which was organised in conjunction with the British Embassy.

Participants included British business people, schools and diplomats, as well as staff from the embassy.

The music skipped from a local Emirati tune to popular British artists Adele and The Kinks to Arabic and South Asian music.

Shoppers joined in with the dance on the UAE's 41st anniversary.
