Bangladesh honours Dubai wildlife expert for conservation efforts
The Dubai wildlife expert Dr Reza Khan has received a prize in recognition of his efforts to protect the wildlife and biodiversity of his native Bangladesh.
Dr Khan, Dubai Municipality's wildlife and zoo specialist, was presented with the Nature Conservation Award at a ceremony in the capital, Dhaka.
"This award is an encouragement for all those working for the wellbeing of the country's wildlife and environment," he said.
Dr Khan settled in the UAE in 1983 and was head of Dubai Zoo for many years. He often visits his home country for field trips.
