The capital's major maternity hospital, where expectant mothers from across the UAE have flocked for years mainly because of its lower costs, has increased its delivery fees almost 10-fold. Is this a cause for worry? Will it mean some couples who cannot afford a hospital birth seek lower quality maternity services, with increased risks?
