Al Ain looks to solve traffic jams in 3km school stretch

The Al Ain Traffic and Patrol Department has held a meeting with the Al Ain City Municipality in a bid to solve chronic traffic jams over a congested 3-kilometre stretch in the city.

The section of road contains 37 schools which attract more than 38,000 students daily.

Colonel Hamad Nasser Al Baloushi, director of Peripheral Areas Traffic Department at the Traffic and Patrol Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police, said that the problem needed to be solved urgently and added that the directorate was willing to provide all its resources to help.
