Abu Dhabi to host Date Palm Festival next month

The National staff

A palm tree-climbing competition, theatre performances and tree planting sessions will be part of the Emirates International Date Palm Festival in Abu Dhabi next month.

Now in its sixth year, the six-day event, beginning on November 26, aims to educate people about the importance of the fruit.
