Abu Dhabi to crack down on changed engines

The National staff

Drivers who modify their cars by adding an engine which is not suitable for the chassis will be fined Dh900 under a campaign announced yesterday by Abu Dhabi Police.

Inspections are to begin on June 10. Drivers who fail also risk having their car impounded for one month.
