580 students receive scholarships at Abu Dhabi University

More than 580 students have been granted scholarships at Abu Dhabi University, while 374 others have been given financial aid.

The university revealed yesterday that Dh4.49 million was set aside for student scholarships and financial funding after reviewing all applications received before August 22.

The university's chancellor, Dr Nabil Ibrahim, said the scholarships and aid were designed to encourage students to excel in studies.

The university has five different types of scholarships.
