500 vehicles impounded in Al Ain in January
Al Ain Traffic and Patrols division impounded 500 vehicles for various traffic infractions in January, as well as 127 driving licences from motorists who had reached the limit of 24 black points.
Major Salah Abdullah Al Humairi, head of Al Ain Traffic and Patrols division confirmed that the department has tightened its control on internal and external roads in the city.
It has also increased its traffic awareness efforts, with 20 awareness campaigns targeting labourers and drivers of heavy and light machinery.
