Electric race returns to TT
ISLE OF MAN // Organisers for the Isle of Man TT have announced that they will be bringing their zero-emissions electric motorcycle TT race, first run at the event last year, under the overall TT programme. The one-lap TT Zero race open to clean-emissions motorcycles will follow FIM regulations and will take place on Wednesday, June 9. On top of the usual prize money, the Isle of Man government has created a £10,000 (Dh58,732) prize for the first clean-emissions motorcycle to lap the 37.73-mile (60.7km) course with an average speed of at least 160kph.
