Oasis: The world takes a back seat

Abu Dhabi is a cultural mosaic, and no one knows that better than the driver of a silver taxi.

During the course of their working day, drivers will encounter people from all walks of life from around the globe.

The National’s photographer Silvia Razgova spent a shift with one and found that the cab is not just a mode of transport, but a window on the world that reminds us just how unique our capital city is.
