Porsche 911 Coupe

iSpy: Porsche 911 Coupe

This is the Porsche 911 coupe set to replace the current model next year. As a design tradition, the 911 has never altered too radically from the original two-door sports car, which was launched in 1963. From what we can see in this spy shot, there will be nothing especially outrageous on the 2011 incarnation. The differences for the new model include front lights that are standing a little more upright and wing mirrors that have moved from the side window corner to the side of the door. This model wil have the same flat-six engine and the new dual-clutch gearbox - and it is expected to have more power than the 911 currently in showrooms. The 911 being tested in this photo is not the turbo - the side air-intake in front of the rear wheel is a fake.
