Top five: 21st century concept cars

Every year car makers spend huge pots of cash developing concepts to raise awareness of their brands. These outlandish-looking marketing vehicles have a serious side to them too, often previewing new technology and future design directions. This week, BMW's incredible M1 Homage rolled into the Dubai motor show and, appropriately, kicks off our list of the best recent concepts.
