Features This new 278-square-metre property in JVT's district 9 is an end unit and is set on two levels. The property is next to a park and a canal.

Pros The kitchen comes fully fitted with a fridge, cooker and washing machine. Both bedrooms are en suite and the master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and private terrace. There is a sizeable if unlandscaped garden, parking space for two cars and a maid's room and laundry area.

Cons JVT is still a relatively new development and there are no shops, swimming pools, gyms or other amenities as yet. The nearest shop is in The Springs, five minutes' drive away. Landscaping is incomplete.

They say Easy access to major routes such as Sheikh Zayed Road.

We say JVT became popular recently because properties were new, spacious and very well-priced. However, increased demand has resulted in rocketing rents. We would suggest it is a little overpriced.
