Annual rent for a four-bedroom villa on The Palm, Jumeirah

Features This fully-furnished 5,045-square-foot villa is set in Canal Cove and includes four en suite bedrooms, plus a maid's room.

Pros The property is fitted with top-quality finishings, including Miele kitchen appliances. The main living area looks over a communal swimming pool and garden, while a separate family room also offers views of the water. One bedroom is on the ground floor, making it perfect for guests, while three are on the upper level. There is also a study area set off from the master bedroom and a large terrace with a built-in bar area.

Cons The villa has been furnished in a very classical style, which may not be to everybody's taste. Also, rent has to be paid in one cheque.

They say This family home is fitted with quality furnishings.

We say We'd probably tweak the interiors but there's no denying that this would be a great place to live.
