Check out a new craft magazine

As our feature on the ten best craft blogs attests, a strong relationship has been forged between contemporary craft and the internet, with an increasing number of younger women taking up needlecraft then sharing their ideas and inspiration on blogs and websites.

As a response to this, the magazine Mollie Makes has been launched with the aim of collecting and curating the best in online craft-related content and presenting step-by-step projects for you to make at home - from simple sewing adjustments to revamp an outfit, to instructions on how to crochet an apple cosy.

Launched this summer to a record number of subscribers, the magazine is a delight just to look at, with beautifully photographed and illustrated layouts presented with a dreamy retro-tinged look, underlining MM's love of all things vintage.

This month's issue includes a feature on craft and design in Norway, and instructions on how to make a cute fruit-shaped pincushion and an embroidered baby's bib. To find out more, visit the Mollie Makes website and blog at www.molliemakes.com.
