Gilan is a fine jewellery house founded in 1980 in Istanbul by brothers Muharrem and Ferhan Gilan - following in the design footsteps of their great, great grandmother, head seamstress to the Ottoman Court, who crafted custom dresses and suits for the Ottoman Pashas.

Each of Osman Gilan’s pieces is a one-off, which has swayed the likes of Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz to wear them on the red carpet. Each piece is priced at anywhere between US$25,000 and $2 million (Dh91,830 to Dh7.35m).
