Waldorf-Astoria to open in Ras Al Khaimah

One of New York's most historic hotel names, the luxury Waldorf-Astoria, is coming to Ras Al Khaimah.

A Waldorf-Astoria hotel, Hilton's top brand, is scheduled to open in the emirate in fourth quarter of this year. The New York hotel in Manhattan has hosted famous residents including US President Herbert Hoover and Marilyn Monroe.

The property in the UAE “is the perfect hotel to mark the brand’s entry into the UAE and further strengthens our partnership with

Ras Al Khaimah”, said John Vanderslice, global head of luxury and lifestyle brands at Hilton Worldwide.

Hilton already manages two hotels in Ras Al Khaimah. A property under the operator’s Doubletree is also under development in the emirate.
