Take Me Home Tonight

The year is 1988. Matt (Topher Grace), is working at the local video store when the object of his high school fantasies, Tori (Teresa Palmer), strolls in. He tells her he’s a banker at Goldman Sachs and she invites him to a party, the host of which happens to be Matt’s twin sister Wendy’s boyfriend. Wendy (Anna Faris) is at a crossroads, having to choose between staying with her boyfriend or taking a place at the University of Cambridge. Everything comes to a head at the party, which sets the scene for big hair, leg warmers and a nice soundtrack if you like Eighties music. Take Me Home Tonight is an all-in-one-night comedy that taps into classic themes of the decade, such as the romantic underdog and not knowing what to do with your life in your early 20s.
