The staff of The Eclipse, an offshore drilling rig stationed off the coast of South Korea’s Jeju Island, is making a last-ditch effort to strike oil in order to avoid being shut down when crew members start turning up dead. They soon realise that there is more than just oil below the ocean’s surface, and that they are not alone out in Sector 7. An angry sea monster forces them to engage in a battle for their lives.
