Vince (Andy Garcia) is a prison guard whose secret passion is acting, in a drama about a family whose members are each hiding something. Vince gets a new prisoner who turns to be his son from a past relationship that his wife and kids know nothing about. A complex web of secrets starts to come undone when the ex-con son comes home to live.
