Summer hours at Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort

Family events

May 27 - Jul 31, 2011

It may be too hot to enjoy a day trip to the zoo, but it isn’t so warm that you can’t make an evening of it. Adjusted hours of operation over summer allow visitors to observe some of the 4,300 species housed at the Al Ain Wildlife Park and Resort in the late afternoon and evening. See white tigers (pictured) and Bengal tigers, both endangered species, African wild dogs, northwest Bornean orangutans, Nubian giraffes, southern white rhinoceroses, zebras and gazelles, to name a few, and don’t miss the extraordinary hunting skills of falcons, eagles, owls and vultures on display at the bird show.

Daily until July 31, 4pm to 10pm. Bird show, weekdays at 7.30pm and twice on Fridays, at 6.15pm and 7.30pm. General admission, Dh15 for adults and Dh5 for children three to 12 years (free for children zero to two years), www.awpr.ae

12AM - 12AM
